A big thank you to all who came out and braved the rainy elements for our Christmas holiday-decorating-kick-off this past weekend! It has been nothing but torrential downpours here in Halifax the last four days with no break in sight, BUT soggy spirits were left at the door the minute people stepped into the Henhouse. A sparkly winter wonderland with vintage inspired decorations and bold glittering accents, many Haligonians are now happily at home dreaming and anticipating the day they get to start putting all their new Henhouse purchases out on display in their own nests.But please don't despair if you weren't able to make it, there are still many many gorgeous and unique decorations just waiting to be snapped up. We are all happy to help inspire you in your holiday decorating, so please don't hesitate to ask for tips in making your home sparkle too!

I have been a fan of feather duvets for the last 40 years. Recently I purchased an Alpaca duvet from your store, and I was not too sure if I would like it. Much to my surprise it is WONDERFUL. So light and yet so toasty. It has such consistent warmth unlike the feathers that tend to bunch up and have to be shaken out. I highly recommend this and it would make a terrific gift.
